Lorraine was admitted to practice in August 2002 after gaining a Bachelor of Law degree from The University of Melbourne. Since her admission as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia, Lorraine has gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice Skills and Ethics from Monash University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University.

Following her admission as a solicitor Lorraine has practiced as a senior family lawyer for over 20 years exclusively in the area of family law. During this significant period of time, Lorraine has represented numerous clients in all aspects of family law matters including parenting, property, divorce and intervention order matters. She is a committed family lawyer and has represented clients in high conflict parenting matters, including cases which proceeded to trial, and in complex financial and property matters.

Lorraine has experienced the stressful process of separation herself whilst caring for 2 young children. Her experience has informed her representation of her clients and is a driving force in her strong commitment to achieve the best outcomes for all her clients through lawyer assisted negotiation, with litigation being viewed as a last resort.

To achieve good outcomes for her clients, Lorraine draws on her over 20 years’ experience practising exclusively in the area of family law, her own personal experience and her attention to detail. Lorraine is committed to assisting her clients through the entire family law process to enable them to achieve fair and reasonable outcomes which allow her clients to move forward in their lives following separation.
