Kasey Warner

Kasey grew up in Williamstown. Upon completing Year 12, she undertook studies at the University of Melbourne and graduated on 28 August 2004 with a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Kasey was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria on 20 September 2005. During her tertiary studies and following completion of those studies, Kasey worked in a Melbourne firm for five years before relocating to Geelong in 2006. For 10 years, Kasey worked in private legal practice in Geelong before joining the team at Geelong Family Lawyers. Kasey has worked exclusively as a Family Lawyer ever since 2006.
Kasey offers her clients the benefit of her knowledge and expertise accumulated over many years of exclusive practise in family law. In parenting matters, Kasey understands the challenges facing separated parents and the need to create arrangements that promote the best interests of their children. In property disputes,
Kasey recognises the importance to arrive at a financial arrangement that is fair and reasonable and enables people to move forward with their lives.
Kasey’s areas of practice (for married, de-facto and same sex relationships) include parenting and property matters, divorce, spousal maintenance, family violence and Intervention Order matters, post-separation Financial Agreements and child support matters. Kasey has represented clients in the Magistrates’ Court, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and at both formal and informal mediations.
Kasey is a member of the Geelong Law Association and a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
Kasey’s interests outside of work include attending art exhibitions, hot rod shows, gardening and spending time with her family.
